Protective CCTV at Abbottsholme School by Mace

Following-on from its successful contract at Abbotsholme, the leading independent Staffordshire school appointed Mace to provide additional protection for the property, its staff and students.

The school, located at Rocester, selected Mace to carry out these latest works following successful completion of the rewiring of the old school buildings.

Preparation for the installation included detailed plans by Mace with MD Simon Chapman liaising with the school’s Maintenance Staff to establish and agree fixed timescales.

Mace has now completed the installing of CCTV, complete with number plate recognition of visitors to the school. The CCTV is strategically positioned to cover the buildings, key entrances and car parks, and records all movements on and off site.

It also provides coverage of the crossing between the teaching rooms on opposite sides of the local road.

Door entry systems to restrict free access onto the school premises were also fitted by the company’s engineers whilst they were onsite.

These latest works provide improved protection for students, staff and visitors to the school and illustrate the wide range of services that Mace offers its customers.
