Mace CCTV in Derbyshire
Mace has recently completed its latest local project for another major UK brand.
Based at Badger Farm, Hilton, near Derby, John Bowler Eggs is the UK's largest independent free range and organic egg producer, through its successful franchise-style Free Range Egg production system.
Mace designed and installed CCTV at the company’s new offices in the converted steel storage barn that forms the modern two-storey HQ for the 40+ office-based staff.
The security contractor specified and installed Pan, Tilt and Zoom, PTZ, tracking cameras, which move in any direction, to monitor staff and visitor movements on the site and offer high level protection.
To support this system, Mace also installed an automatic lighting system plus intruder alarms.

Works were completed with the replacement of traditional gates at Badger Farm with 7m electrically-operated sliding gates. These offer enhanced site security and are similarly monitored by CCTV.
The Group now operates more than 150 farms with all the eggs being produced free range or organic and under the Lion Quality Code and Freedom Food badges. John Bowler is a major supplier to leading supermarkets including Waitrose and J Sainsbury.
